Addictmusic.co.uk began in the hazy summer of 2009, with a ramshackle WordPress theme and two music journalists at the helm. Having cut our teeth in both print and online magazines, we felt it was time to head out on our own and create a magazine that only focused on the most exciting and innovative music.

With a precise budget of zilch we’ve clawed our way through the blogsphere and now find ourselves one of the fastest growing independent music websites in the UK. We have an ever growing team of writers, who apart from writing for us also contribute to the likes of Clash, ‘Sup magazine, Gigwise and the BBC. Despite our relatively quick ascent, we still keep in touch with bands who are just starting out and regularly feature them in our ‘Emerging Artists’ section.
