Liars – WIXIW (Mute)

It’s clear that WIXIW is a very different record to what has gone before and that it’ll likely become to be known as the band’s ‘electronic’ record.

Santigold – Master of My Make Believe (Atlantic)

Sometimes a reintroduction can be hard, and through this release Santigold hasn’t been able to recreate that magic that she showed four years ago.

Mystery Jets – Radlands (Rough Trade)

A step back down the indie ladder and if this is the bands final hurrah they certainly haven’t gone out with a bang.

Devin – Romancing (French Kiss/No Evil Records)

Fixers – We’ll Be The Moon (Vertigo)

Fixers have produced an astral release which borrows from indie rock, electronica and avant-garde.

Cloud Nothings @ Cargo, 9/05/12

Not even a confusing powercut could stop these four ripping Cargo asunder, one guitar riff at a time.

Simple Things Festival – Bristol, 6/5/2012

Simple Things grabbed the best from indie, electro and experimental acts and crammed them into 14 great hours of gigs in 5 venues around the city.

Camden Crawl Festival, 5 – 6/5/2012

Like London’s Great Escape, Camden Crawl serves as a showcase for the next crop of up and coming artists in the industry. Let Festival Season 2012 begin
