We’re incredibly excited to be heading to this year’s instalment of Beacons, as we’re fans of pretty much every artist on the bill and have blogged about most of them at some point. So, choosing just a few artists is pretty tough – but here goes.

Bonobo

The British producer’s latest album The North Borders has been soundtracking our cider-soaked afternoons all summer long.

Danny Brown

The fact that Danny Brown is even gonna be appearing at a UK festival makes his set unmissable – just don’t get too close, or you might see more than you expected.

John Talabot

Talabot’s debut album Fin has been on heavy rotation since it was released in early 2012, and this will be the third time we’ll be catching Barcelona’s finest live.

JAWS

Off all the B-town bands breaking through over the past twelve months, JAWS’s bedroom dream-pop has easily made them our favourites.

Traams

Brighton’s Traams are one of the most exciting bands we’ve heard in 2013, and they’ll be making the arduous journey from the south coast to Skipton to perform their raucous punk.

Beacons festival takes place this weekend in Skipton and tickets are still available from the festival website.
