All aboard HMS Bestival: a festival located on the Isle of Wight, a small island in the middle of the English Channel floating on enchanting charm. Glittering in popularity with the Victorians, the Isle of Wight offers a world of euphoric magic and myth that sets it apart from its festival counterparts. From 5th-8th September, Robin Hill Country Park is transformed into an entranced forest engulfed by Bollywood Cocktail Bars, Amphitheatres and Wishing Trees. Curated by power couple Rob and Josie Da Bank, the festival merges musical brilliance with creative eccentricity providing something for everyone shown by its impressive line-up of awards.

Tenth birthday brat, Bestival is celebrating its milestone year with one hell of a surreally dream-like line up with Elton John, Snoop Dogg and Fatboy Slim gracing the very same stage, sharing the very same sweat. With past line ups including the legendary likes of Stevie Wonder, The Cure and Bjork a four day ticket this year will set you back a reasonable £190. Other acts include a wide smorgasbord of genres from M.I.A to Chic featuring Nile Rodgers and 1980s alternative poet, John Cooper Clarke to James Blake. So why not take a short and sweet British holiday at the end of summer and see some incredible icons of music whilst you’re at it? Treat yourself.
