Aqualung Coming Back With New Album

April 27, 2010 by

Aqualung will return this summer, with the release of their sixth studio album ‘Magnetic North’ released on July 5th through Fruitcake Records.

Hales aka Aqualung began his music career aged 17, when he composed his first symphony and played keyboards for Mecano Pig. He achieved huge amounts of exposure a few years back with his breakthrough song ‘Strange and Beautiful’ and then quickly turned his back on music after feeling ‘chewed up and spat out by the industry’.

Thankfully, he decided to return to the industry and despite his proclamation to quit touring Hales will take to the road in support of the album. He will play a series of dates across America through April and May, announcing a range of European shows and festival appearances shortly.

The album will be preceded by new single, ‘Fingertip’, on June 21st.
