Ash are to release a single a fortnight for a year on their own Atomic Heart Records, after turning their back on the album format.

In 2007 the band announced that their album Twilight of the Innocents would be their last, claiming the digital age had put the emphasis back on singe tracks.

For the past year the band has been in New York writing and recording a series of songs that will form the “A-Z Series”.
From September all 26 songs will be released on seven-inch vinyl and download at a rate of one single a fortnight. They will be available from record shops and by subscription from the band’s website www.ash-official.com.

To kick off this series, Ash have released a new song, Return Of The White Rabbit, as a free download from their website. It will be available as a limited seven inch from June 8.

The band will be playing two nights at the Bloomsbury Ballroom on June 6 and 7 and a number of festivals over the summer.
