Mumford and Sons Win Best British Album At the Brit Awards

Despite releasing their debut album ‘Sigh No More’ in 2009, Mumford & Sons have won the British Album Of The Year category at this year’s Brit awards.

The Wimbledon born folk band’s debut album ‘Sight No More’ was up against albums by Plan B, Tinie Tempah, Take That and The xx.

Elsewhere, Arcade Fire followed up their Grammy win by being awarded Best International Album for their third LP, ‘The Suburbs’ and best International Group.
