King monkey Ian Brown is streaming a track off his forthcoming album ‘My Way’ on his website.
The track ‘Just Like You’ can be heard here.
A scan of a handwritten letter from Brown also appears on the site, declaring that fans should “beg, steal, borrow or buy” the album.
The bulk of the 12 tracks of his new album were co-written with long time collaborator Dave McCracken at Battery Studios, London, where Brown and the Stone Roses recorded their seminal debut 20 years before.
The lead single Stellify will be released on 21 September on Fiction.
Ian Brown has been confirmed as a very special guest on the main stage at the 2009 Reading and Leeds festivals. More dates will be announced shortly.
