Ólafur Arnalds Announces New Album Details

Icelandic neo-classical artist Ólafur Arnalds is set to release his second full-length album ‘…and they have escaped the weight of darkness’, in the UK on the 10th May through Erased Tapes.

Ólafur Arnalds will perform his new album with the RNCM Symphony Orchestra conducted by André de Ridder, who previously worked with Nico Muhly and Damon Albarn, at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on July 1, 2010 – alongside a performance of Jonny Greenwood’s ‘Popcorn Superhet Receiver’ and Igor Stravinsky’s ‘Rite of Spring’.
