A series of short films created by photographer Seamus Murphy for each song on PJ Harvey’s last album, ‘Let England Shake’, will be screened at several festivals in the UK this summer.

For the album Seamus Murphy travelled 5,000 miles around England to create 12 films “inspired by and developed from themes in Harvey’s new album”.

The films will be played as a complete visual accompaniment to the album for the first time in the UK at Latitude in July, followed by screenings at the Big Chill and Reading/Leeds festivals.

PJ Harvey & Seamus Murphy will also travel to Kosovo at the end of July for a screening of the films at the Prizren Dokufest Film Festival where they will participate in an audience Q&A regarding their collaboration.

And finally, Harvey will be playing live at ATP’s I’ll Be Your Mirror event in front of the films on the 23rd of July at Alexandra Palace, London.
