Tunng Announce New Single And Tour

April 29, 2010 by

Twisted folk act Tunng are set to release a new single ‘Sashimi’ on the 17th May through Full Time Hobby. The band has also announced a new run of UK dates in July and festival appearances at Glastonbury, The Great Escape and Bestival.

Taken from their album ‘…And Then We Saw Land’, ‘Sashimi’ apparently tells the story of a troubled relationship. “It’s kind of about a strange, adventurous Paris romance, but I guess you wouldn’t really get that from the words,” says frontman Mike Lindsay.

On the B-side is a remix of former single ‘Hustle’ the winner of a special competition that invited fans to remix the track.
