Yeasayer To Give New Song Away Free

Yeasayer have confirmed that they will be releasing the first new material from their highly anticipated second album, Odd Blood, for free.
Having already previewed Ambling Alp on their recent UK dates with Bat For Lashes, this is their first new recording since “Tightrope” appeared on the Dark Was The Night benefit comp earlier this year. The track will be available for free download via the band’s website www.yeasayer.net from 30th October 2009.
The single will be released digitally and on limited edition vinyl in rather special packaging in January 2010.
Yeasayer will be playing “Ambling Alp” amongst other brand new tracks from ODD BLOOD on their upcoming appearances at Fun Fun Fun Fest as well as a small handful of US dates before going underground until the album’s release in 2010.
